Ok, some people have been asking how to turn the new announcements off...

Here is the information I have, explained.

Under the chat box, you will see...

- All - Game - Public - Private - Friends - Clan - Assist - Report -

Right Click 'Game' and change the setting to 'Filter'

This will turn off other players announcements.

Right Click 'Game' and change the setting to 'All'

This will turn to server announcements back ON.

Turn your PM Off to disable your notifications being sent out to other players.

Small 'XP Lamp - Rewards approximately 1000 XP.

Medium XP Lamp - Rewards approximately 9800 XP.

Large XP Lamp - Rewards approximately 20,000 XP.

XP rewards vary depending on skill level. (As I understand it).

Getting Runescape Working?

Hi lancerlotte

You have recently submitted a bug report regarding disconnections whilst trying to take part in activity within your clan citadel. I have also read your thread and understand the lengths you have gone to in trying to resolve this for yourself.

I have investigated this for you and believe that this all ties in with the issues that many players are currently facing.

We have a known problem at the moment with Java/FPS which ties in with both your FPS issues and the Client token errors.

This also matches up with the issue of being unable to world hop without disconnection.

As I read through your thread and took note of the solutions and steps you have already taken, it became clear to me that you have been heavily affected by the problems.

I really admire your determination to overcome this.

I hope that the next round of updates that we perform help you to resolve this.

One thing you can do in the mean time, is delete the Jagex "LIVE" folder.

Computer > C Drive > Users > YOUR NAME > jagexcache > runescape > LIVE

This may help. If not then you may experience this issue for a little while longer - though I hope that is not the case!!

Some players are experiencing game crashes while the map updates in a new area.

This is a known issue and a fix is being worked on. Apologies for any inconvenience caused.

Many players are having trouble logging in or are being removed from the game seconds after logging in. We are working to produce a solution to this as quickly as possible. We're very sorry for any upset caused.

Items not appearing below gravestones. A fix is being worked on but this can be corrected by re-logging, the items will then be visible.

Just wish they would hurry the fk up with their fixes. Their incompetence is damaging our clan!!! No form of compensation to be expected. I am relying on every GKM to keep the clan running smoothly during these complications. Thank you for your stepped-up efforts. GKSC should be back to normal once Jagex finally get round to fixing Runescape. I appreciate they have a load of other games to maintain, BUT DON'T FORGET WHERE IT ALL GREW FROM!

This Competition is a Clan Members Only Competition. (Corporal+), although Recruits may be permitted entry if the other Entered Clan Mates are ok with it.

If you are not a GKSC Member then it is most likely you will not be permitted to enter.

GKSC Christmas Quiz 2011 is a completely optional Event. If you do not feel comfortable with me handling the Prize Fund, then do not enter. Nothing will change regarding your clan position. It has been arranged for Clan Enjoyment.

Clan Ranking Changes!

Top End Clan Ranks have had to be re-organised to to these wonderful recent updates on Runescape.

Generals are no-longer GKEs, they are now GKE Candidates. (think of it as Leader on trial/in training).

Top end ranks now look like this:

General (Gold Star) - GKE Candidate

Admin+ (Bronze Cross+) - GKECoordinator (Star Burst) - GKEC Candidate. Ignore this member at your own risk.

Coordinator+ (Star Burst+) - GKEC Candidate. Ignore this member at your own risk.

Overseer (Bronze Key) - GKEC Candidate. Ignore this member at your own risk.
Deputy Owner (Silver Key) - GKEC - Full authority as a collective.

I hope this doesn't cause too much confusion amongst GKSC.

Like everything else, you will adjust in time.
